To strengthen our team in Leipzig, we are looking for a Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) to start immediately in a part-time position (25-30 hours).

A task that challenges:

  • Independent execution of monthly payroll accounting for our employees
  • Maintenance and updating of personnel master data as well as time recording systems
  • Consideration and application of wage tax and social security regulations
  • Contact person for employees regarding payroll-related questions
  • Communication with tax advisors, health insurance funds, and authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines
  • Preparation of evaluations and reports in the area of payroll, construction payroll, and salaries
  • Support in the optimization of payroll accounting processes
  • Management and archiving of payroll-relevant documents and data

A resume that impresses:

  • Completed vocational training in the field of accounting, human resources, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in payroll accounting, construction payroll, ideally in a medium-sized company
  • Sound knowledge of wage tax, social security, and labor law
  • Proficient use of common payroll software such as DATEV and BRZ
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • Discretion in handling sensitive data
