General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH – Private Customers
As of: June 2026
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, deliveries, and services provided by Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH to private customers as defined in § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) within the Federal Republic of Germany. Deviating agreements must be made in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
Our offers are subject to change and non-binding. A contract is concluded by written order confirmation, verbal or telephone commissioning, or by the start of the execution of services. In these cases, these GTC are deemed agreed upon, provided the customer was informed of their validity before or at the time of placing the order and had the opportunity to take note of their content.
Unless otherwise agreed, the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) serves as the basis for all contracts.
3. Cancellation Policy
The statutory cancellation period is granted until the start of work on-site.
By commencing the work, the customer expressly waives the right of cancellation.
4. Services
Services are provided according to the recognized rules of technology, in particular according to the applicable DIN and VDE regulations. Changes or extensions to the scope of services are considered additional services and are to be remunerated separately.
5. Prices, Billing, and Payment
The billing of labor, travel costs, flat rates, ancillary services, and other expenses is based on the price and hourly rate list of Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH valid at the time the service is rendered.
Labor services are charged for at least the first half hour. Working time also includes setup times, preparation and follow-up work, as well as organizationally necessary activities.
⇒ Price List for Private Customers
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due immediately upon invoicing without deduction. For customer service and small orders, remuneration can be invoiced immediately after the service has been rendered. Installment payments are permitted.
If the invoice cannot be sent electronically via email or if postal delivery is explicitly requested, a flat postal fee of €2.95 will be charged.
6. Retention of Title
Delivered materials and goods remain the property of Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH until full payment has been made.
7. Customer’s Duty to Cooperate
The customer must create all conditions for the proper provision of services. If additional costs arise due to a lack of cooperation, waiting times, or unsuccessful journeys, these are to be remunerated separately.
8. Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply. No warranty is provided in the event of improper use, intervention by third parties, normal wear and tear, or for materials provided by the customer.
9. Liability
Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. In the case of simple negligence, Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage under the contract.
Events of force majeure, in particular natural disasters, official measures, or unpredictable material shortages, release Söhnel Elektroanlagen GmbH from the obligation to perform for the duration of the disruption.
10. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data is regulated in the separate privacy policy.
11. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
